All discussions and interactions with Bering Connect Programs are held in the highest level of confidentiality.

Bering Connect staff, leaders and participants are friendly, non-threatening and non-judgmental. Our activities and events are confidential and welcoming for all. Although many of Bering Connect’s meetings are held at Bering Memorial United Methodist Church, Bering Connect and its groups are non-[secular or sectarian] – all are welcome. Bering Connect is a “safe” place for you to ask questions, seek friendship and find support. We encourage you to contact  Larry by email or phone, as shown above. Remember, your inquiry will be completely confidential and non-judgmental.

We also offer “Grief Recovery” group sessions to help attendees recover from feelings of grief (loss of a loved one, illness, job loss, etc.). These sessions typically last for 7-10 weeks and are limited to 16 participants. The Overcoming Grief sessions focus on sharing and compassion; specifics discussed in the group setting are confidential. There is a small fee to cover cost of reference materials, and pre-registration is required.

You may also benefit from attending one of the seminars offered by Bering Connect. The sessions are completed in a single day and include lunch. Pre-registration is required.

Let us Support You!

Bering Connect serves the HIV and GLBT communities and their friends and families, by providing spiritual support, pastoral counseling, and peer support groups in a confidential and nurturing space.
